The Festival Paris Music is back for its fifth edition of March 19, 20, and 21 2020 !

Founded in 2016, this annual festival, held in association with the Mairie de Paris, blends music and cultural heritage. With events set in atypical Paris locations (museums, churches, cultural centers, mansions, urban wastelands, jazz clubs…).

The American Center for Art and Culture is happy to welcome the festival again this year. On March 20th we will be waiting for you for a great concert by Aliocha!

▬▬▬▬▬ THE ARTIST

Aliocha was born under a lucky star in Paris in 1993. Coming from the talented Schneider family, this Montrealer by adoption quickly had his chance in theatre, television and cinema. A versatile, inveterate fan of the work of Elliott Smith, Bob Dylan and John Lennon, Aliocha wrote his first songs as a teenager, without ever revealing them to the public. Eventually, unexpected encounters allowed him to record a first EP “Sorry Eyes” in 2016 and an album, “Eleven Songs” in 2017. Aliocha returns with a second album in 2020, in which he frees himself from his most obvious folk influences. With his singular and unsuspected signature, at the crossroads of rock, soul and dream pop, the first single “The Party” is the promise of a clever and audacious opus.

▬▬▬▬▬ C O N C E R T
Aliocha has a sense of timing: his second album is to be released the day of his concert for Festival Paris Music. The album’s title track, “The Party”, is a gem of electronic pop: no doubt it will be a big hit for this young singer and actor from Montreal. If Aliocha is the fourth son of a brotherhood of actors (he is the brother of Niels Schneider) he is on his way to being the first brother to succeed in the music industry.
